ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I took a lot of time making this painting. There is a technique I learned in London at Central St Martins with Caroline List. It involves transferring an image to the canvas and then painting on top. I've had this canvas knocking about my studio for number of years and have finally worked out how to finish it. It's a conversation an image making, texture, and the paradigm of representation with illusion. It's a view in the south of France of a Vineyard on hillside
