The Geisha on the Washing Line illustrates a strong empowered woman balling the driving rain in fine splendour and with an unrelenting resolve. Inspired by the strength of my wife and daughters in the face of objectifying attitudes (not from within my family). She is strong, she is beautiful she is feminine, she is empowered. All painted on otherwise disposed of assembly instructions or a washing line.
