Miruna Cojanu "Between tomorrow and yesterday is LOVE. NOW I feel it.” Kulterra Gallery June 8 - July 7, 2023 My artistic obsession is based on my personal belief that the beauty and the good of the world can be amplified if they are obsessively explored and then shared with the world, with all the intensity of my experiences and my human truth. I like to build myself through my artistic experiments, (through the hyper-sensorialism of colors, shapes, models that I choose with absolutely sensual flair) into a shameless impertinent instigator in the fullness of life, just hyper-good, really good and incredibly beautiful. I think that a little is enough only when too much is not about goodness and joy. So in all the years since I decided to follow my artistic instinct and completely transformed my life, I have dedicated my mind, body and soul to exacerbation, positive exaggeration and the stubbornness of choosing to see, cut and transform in art everything that has the high vibration of exuberance, optimism, warmth, love. From the anxieties, challenges and memories of the past, we move forward with confidence, wisdom, peace, nostalgia, all represented in vintage-inspired carpets, where every color, pattern and thread connection has the best meaning and purpose. From the promise of tomorrow, on the backgrounds of yesterday, I described myself, in a play of persona and evolution of potentials, which I imagine only in the sense of good, nonchalance, hope and fulfillment. The hyperbolized and hypersensory stories of good and beauty about yesterday and tomorrow are possible because they were all created in the state of love that I know and recognize now, being truly present in my human and artistic life, to the fullest. From this temporal oscillation, always exploring, now, the exacerbated emotion of joy, lightness and well-being, I created "Between tomorrow and yesterday is Love. Now I Feel It", a hypersensory personal exploration of the present.

Recently I wondered what I could do to feel alive, excited, challenged, curious, less afraid. What is the deep sense of joy for me? How would I fell that the days pass with a true meaning? The answer came easily, without any fear: painting. So, I decided to listen to my soul and I started to play with colors, lights, emotions. I started to slowly learn to leave control aside, to forget about fears, about the exhausting self-consciousness. I started painting. Allowing myself to fell sadness, joy, love, vulnerability, happiness, hope, empathy, things started to make sense. Exploring all these emotions, getting lost in the process, learning from mistakes, seeing something new and different every time and enjoying every moment in my studio became my new purpose. And I love it :). I love to create forms of art made out from my emotions, from my deepest feelings. I love to express myself through painting.
