ABOUT THE ARTWORK
While in the greater lockdown of 2020 I decided to pick up my paints to pass the hours, bringing a bit of light and happiness back into my day to day. I did a series of female portraits, depicting what truly happy women look like. Not the “Insta” picture perfect woman the media depicts. These women have dimples and rolls, gummy teeth and double chins, a true depiction of beautiful, strong women. This is a stretched canvas, needs wire adding to hang.
