The Grail Cup Painting

The second name of the picture: "The origin of the Soul" or "The Cycle of the Soul in the Universe". In this picture, the female image acts as the uterus of the universe, into which the seed of the human Soul falls from previous lives or from outside. Ready for incarnation, the Soul merges with the subtle body. The subtle body is a prototype of the physical body, which originated in the ovarian wings. And then the whole human embryo matures, passing through the entire phylogeny of the planet in its ontogenesis (the picture shows embryos at different stages of development). Here, the fetal egg matures like a plant: the umbilical cord is like a stem, the placenta is like a sepal, the amnion is like a fetal shell, the baby is like a fruit (seed), and the root feeds from the common earth. The picture was created in the "anatomical" period of my work. Then, in my paintings, I embodied all the knowledge gained during my studies at the medical institute. I liked to create hybrids of living beings and invent personalities for them. I easily connected the stinging cells of the hydra and the human body and worked out their physiology. It was an interesting time of my creativity until I discovered the Vedas. I express my gratitude to my mother for her inspiration and faith in me!
