The Monk Painting

When I paint, I do not have a specific goal in mind, or a specific artist or look that inspires my work. Images of a scene or an object come into my mind, and I begin to paint from my imagination. I also have terrible focus, so I don't like the tedious method of copying an object or another work. I didn't really have a hope in mind for myself or anyone, this work was created out of a happy spontaneity. I use acrylic because it dries fast and I can get my ideas out faster (or else I may forget). In some of my paintings I like to paint in 'blurs' or little different specks of color to somewhat create a 'blur effect'. I paint this way because it makes up for the negative space I would leave as I don't usually paint full scenes. All of my works are original, and are simply results of me exploring my creative side. Because I paint for pure fun, and I am not a professional, there may be some paint on the back of the canvas panel. It does not come with hanging hardware (I wouldn't even know how to hang it, but I'm also not tool-savvy) and was created on a canvas panel/board.
