the mountain of spirit Painting

This picture shows a landscape of the spirit, mystical, in great variety and unstoppable in movenent, neverthless it's the ONE. For me the colors are material and spiritual at the same time. Mixing the three primary colors, red, blue and yellow, creates the gray. This gray exudes lively depth in contrast to the black and white mixture. Through color I want to create an imaginary space for my personal feelings and associations in my pictures. That means: Their coloring is an attempt to stop and express my constantly changing feelings in a binding way. The structure using putty, combined with a broad brush and layers of paint, interprets the stories of nature, like mountains, healed wounds on human skin. To do this, my painting requires the material aspect of my color medium. Because only when the invisible feeling materializes in a concrete and structured layer of color can it be conveyed to my surroundings. In this respect, my painting always moves between the poles of intuition and verification by reason. Before I put shapes on the canvas, they already exist as an idea in my head. In order to connect the resulting shapes with each other, I prefer unity. Because I perceive the origin of design and the perfect aesthetic forms in nature as a textbook on design.
