The Olive Grove Painting

I painted this during my stay in a friend's cottage in Ripanera in Tuscany, Italy. I'd lived in Italy from 1986-1990, but I didn't paint at that time. My hosts had an olive grove and vineyards and our kitchen was well stocked with red wine and olive oil. On a slightly warm day, I picked up my painting materials and organised a well placed table and chair and sat down to paint. I'm not so good with depth of field so was a little worried. But, I was pleased with the result and I hope you are too. The land slopes up and you can see the greens in the distance.
