About The Artwork
The title piece for the 2013 solo exhibition THE ONE AND THE MANY in the Crypt Gallery, St Martin in the Fields, London, this painting borrows from religious and pagan imagery to create a cosmological wheel of creation with the experience of an oversoul, or guiding angel at its centre. The wheel acts both as a map and compass to aid the contemplative journeying of the viewer. It is a contemporary mandala.
