About The Artwork
This painting is very surreal and haunting, when painting this I was troubled and had a deep feeling of despair about my journey as an artist at this moment in time. It is very rare for me to feel this way whilst painting and my response was to first document it, conquer the feeling and overcome it so that I can take control and move forward with my artistic practice. When I feel this way again I will use the emotion as a catalyst to continue to create and move forward with every ounce of my being and with every new creation. After all, the most dominant constant in life is change.
