About The Artwork

Painting: Oil, Environmental, Enamel on Canvas. Painting: Acrylic, Oil, Paint, Engraving, Timber on Canvas. PAINTING FEATURES Original mixed media painting without a frame. My paintings are original, vividly signed and dated on the front by myself.......Nweke Uchechukwu MEDIUM: Mixed media MATERIALS: Enamel, acrylic, oil colour, sawdust, glue on canvas SIZE: 32" height x 36" width PRODUCTION DATE: 2014 DESCRIPTION The Other Side of Conjugal Bliss has a huge societal significant with a spotlight on the female gender. The painting is self-explanatory depending on the connoisseur analysis context. Should the essence of holy matrimony is given a different meaning just for the quest of personal gains instead of total sacrifice, love and mutual submission on both parties? The mutual love of a married couple should always be open with no hidden secrets for a healthy conjugal bliss. The other Side of Conjugal Bliss is a recommended wall painting in every marital home.

Nweke Uchechukwu was born many years ago in Awka Anambra state Nigeria. After graduating from the University of Nigeria Nsukka, He began to work full time as a studio artist. At first, he started exploring various styles in painting. But over time, he developed a keen interest in environmental sustainability with recycled sawdust and white glue as chief medium of exploration of artistic sensibility and here my creative ingenuity can be better expressed. He has been practicing professionally since the year 2011. He is also a sculptor and lives in London United Kingdom.
