About The Artwork
When I stood in Florence in front of this Neptune Fountain by the sculptor Bartolomeo Ammanati and photographed the group of horses. I only noticed the pigeon in the middle of the picture when i looked at the finished photo later. It looked as if she was the centre of the shot, altough you didn`t notice her at first. This wonderful group of horses has inspired me so much that i have painted them several times.On this wooden plate I painted them in black and white.

Further training with several artists in Germany and Italy. Since 1990 further artistic development of decorative painting techniques for murals. Had done several murals as commissioned works. Has been teaching watercolour painting at the adult education centre Bergische Volkshochschule Wuppertal since 2019.
