About The Artwork

I began painting this painting with the idea that I'd paint a table of terrible food, burnt and undercooked food. Although as I made the background I'd realised that I can't have the foreground detailed as well as the background so the painting ended up taking a path parallel to most of my cooking ventures; I start off with an idea and then it derails. I'm quite happy with how the painting ended up (unlike my meals) and decided the front is a vague result, coining the term (yep I'm coining it) geometric surrealism. The painting’s original idea came from a weird situation I find myself in. I'm lactose and gluten intolerant and sugar doesn't sit well so people like to take shortcuts when inviting me for food and end up poisoning me (testing my diet, specifically people skeptical of gluten intolerance) so I'm left with the only alternative to invite them over for bad food instead. Sold with hooks ready to hang, hand stretched and a certificate of authenticity! I make the certificates special and individual so the next batch will be printed in Feb and you'll receive a temporary one until then.

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

I’m a surrealist and paint one painting and one digital artwork a week, I’ve turned them both into a series of colouring in books. My digital artworks are purely just creations with usually no intent although I paint mainly in visual metaphors of my experiences, perceptions or thoughts. I won’t paint if anyone’s around me in real life although do record them for people to see them come to life. Once the painting’s done, it’s done and I move onto the next. The result may not be a reflection of my best skill level at the age I create it, but a reflection of the mood and environment I created it in.
