About The Artwork
This work depicts an abstract conception of the mental illness, Anorexia Nervosa. When an individual is caught up in this illness, they think they are in control; but, they are not. They are being controlled by a Puppeteer, the Devil. He controls their every move; their every thought. Dangling the individual over a fiery hell, consuming their brain with numbers, numbers, numbers. Because of their nutrition, the person is destroyed.
