Stephanie Fuller is a multi-national artist whose paintings evoke strong emotions by blending seascapes and landscapes with an expressionistic style that highlights the human condition and our relationship with the natural world. With a well-rounded education in painting, drawing, and sculpture from Bath Academy, Norwich Life Room, and Wimbledon School of Art, Fuller has honed her technical skills. Her late husband, Peter Fuller, inspired her interest in ideas, beauty, and culture, while her childhood spent near the sea in Western Australia shaped her understanding of the natural world and her place within it. Fuller's artwork primarily revolves around environmental consciousness, reminding us of our connection to nature and our animalistic origins. Her creatures and people are intertwined in her paintings, which have been exhibited and collected by museums and private collectors globally for the past 30 years. Tragically, one of her large paintings was lost in the recent Australian bushfires. Over the years, Stephanie has had the privilege of visiting the studios of notable artists, including members of the Bomberg School, Leon Kossoff, and Roy Oxlade and the sculptor Henry Moore. David Bomberg's drawing skills and teachings, particularly his "spirit in the mass" concept of capturing the intuitive essence of a subject, have been a guiding force in Stephanie's artistic journey and will continue to influence her work. Stephanie Fuller's artwork has been widely recognised and collected by museums and private collectors worldwide for the past 30 years.
