About The Artwork
The San Juan House is my sister’s summer home on San Juan Island, in Washington. My kids and I would visit during the summer, and my parents would join us. In 2020, my sister sold the house and we’re still sad. I painted this for my parents so they would have a visual reminder of all the joyful times we spent there.
