the shore Painting

From my trip to the Arctic Circle, I brought a series of sketches dedicated to the local landscapes. There is a wonderful attraction in the Murmansk region-the Khibiny Mountains, snowboarders and skiers come here, but for me the mountains are primarily an artistic object. Naked, sloping, smooth, snow-covered here in the drawing they flash against the background of old fir trees. The snowy mountains illuminated by the setting sun appear as a haze on the horizon. The delicate silhouette of the mountains is emphasized by the graphic, clear silhouette of the coniferous forest.
