About The Artwork
“The Silence of the White Song” by Olena Sydoruk is a mixed-media painting which manifests the quiet energy - the energy and fragility of the moment. It is an exploration of shapes and textures, where minimal shapes combined with subtle pattern and textures of layered tissue paper which creates creases, folds and inspire tactile experiences. It’s created on gallery-wrapped canvas stretched on 1.5” frame. The sides are finished. It ships UNFRAMED. The mounting wire attached to the back. Signed on the front and back. Finished with a top coat of matte varnish. It can be displayed on its own or as a part of the gallery wall combined with other pieces. Olena Sydoruk is a Ukrainian-born American-based multidisciplinary designer. She has a background in fine art and crafts, having earned her degree at the State University in Ukraine. After a few years of teaching career, she moved to the United States where she obtained a bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit. Currently she works as a Senior 3D Exhibit Designer and freelance consultant designing experiences, spaces, and objects. "A lover of architecture, design, fashion and art. I am passionate and intuitive, guided by my heart and my gut and living to my full potential. I keep my eyes open for anything and everything. I observe. I listen. I create. I love seeing how things go from nothing to something".
