This is the sink entrance of a rather large limestone cavern in Rockcastle County, Kentucky. This original oil painting was inspired by the many trips I made to this cave while studying in Kentucky. With storm debris present on the ceiling in many places, one has to keep a keen eye on the weather when exploring this system.
