About The Artwork

When I first saw this scene in a book many years ago, I had the uncanny sense that I recognised the scene or the feeling it evoked even though I have never been to Norway. The vastness and isolation, although I didn't find the scene disturbing - there is a timelessness to this scene. The title derives from a line in the movie "Withnail & I".

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

My paintings are intended to take the viewer on a journey of inner experience. It's all about the light. I studied Fine Art at RMIT University in the 1990's and have exhibited widely around Victoria and Melbourne. At present I am exploring three themes; Seclusion - the consoling environment of Melbourne's Botanical Gardens. Expanse - in which I attempt to draw the viewer into the works to experience the beauty and loneliness. Interiors - the psychology of interior space.
