The Violinist And Other Tales Painting

Andrea Esposito was born in Rimini in 1981. He started drawing at a very young age, inspired by the works of the Old Masters of Renaissance and Italian Baroque. After moving to Como, he attended the Art Institute of Cantù and began painting. In 2001 he enrolled in the Academy Of Fine Arts in Bologna, where he further studied drawing and human anatomy. He then began a deep research into classical painting, from the Old Masters of Renaissance to the highest creations of European Romanticism, focusing on the works of Guido Reni, Caravaggio, Bouguereau and Waterhouse. Since 2010 Andrea’s works have become oriented towards Magical Realism: a mixture of 19th century Romantic style and 20th century Surrealism, giving life to subjects and landscapes with a strong oneiric feel. You can find his paintings in several international collections in England, France, Belgium, Spain, Portugal and Russia. Andrea works and lives in Rimini(Italy).
