The Warriors Painting

In this painting I have tried to depict the warriors of life that fight for the justice of life ... human views facing another human view as well as that of nature, depicted as the lizards siting above the head of the single rock face structure. The faces are shown as rocks/cliffs due to their strength of character. The fight for good and evil perhaps but to me the understanding that man's own barbaric ego struggles against itself possibly due to the misunderstanding of the true power of nature and human's part in conjunction with the energy of nature. Basically the group are fighting themselves whilst the individual is in harmony and balance with nature as shown by the colour yellow/orange the colour of the emotional centre of the solar plexus and the reproductive centre of creativity. 24" x 36" x 2" on stretched canvas. Unframed.
