The Wild Side Painting

This painting “the Wild Side” is part of a collection that I’m presenting on Saatchi Art. It is my latest work and has been inspired by the new environment that I have been introduced to. Newly moved to Miami, previously lived in London and Paris (originally from Copenhagen, Denmark) has been a great inspiration to this collection. Miami is such a colourful city in so many aspects and ways and I think that has been a great inspiration to use more bold colours as well as the more “busy” and “wild” layout compare to my previous work. This painting has many layers and I like the depth it gets by using different strokes, shapes and colours. Further to that I have used a combination of acrylic paint, ink and charcoal and which I believe gives a good balance in the art piece. This painting symbolise a new beginning and wild side that is being released and is ready to explore!
