About The Artwork
I created this oil canvas in 2012, as part of my first series of homoerotic arts inspire by beefy, strong men. The inspiration came after my first trip to New York, where I was fascinated by the architecture that I saw and admired from my arts classes years before. The composition is also inspired by the retro images of workers over the beams while they were constructing the buildings. And also it is an association of the strength of a man´s body with the strength of steel, indicating that with it you can even go to the sky.

I have painted since I was a child, but professionally talking I have been doing it since 2007 when I studied my masters in Fine Arts in Mexico.
