About The Artwork
I always loved carousels and found them mesmerizing but at the same time I felt their horses trapped in a vicious circle. This is one is inspired by a music carousel I have in my studio. The viewers can feel the hope and the power we have to escape from the "colourful" traps that life and situations might put us, that lead nowhere. We can always make the diffirence and fly away from the crowd.
