About The Artwork
"The life and times of Jenri the artist" explores the themes of faith and reincarnation. A corpse filled with pain and regret lays in the ground to be reborn into a new seedling. The blood and sacrifices made enrich the young sapling. His spirit guide mother Goddess watches him at a distance and promises protection while two other spirits welcome him into the new world. A canvas of a vast desert from a distance is a giant cathedral that was once a place of familiarity, doves fly away leading to a staircase to a new dimension of one's self. His goal to reach that higher self through trials and tribulations. To reach the sacred heart. His faith is tested as from a distance a new garden of roses begins to bloom from that desert.
