The mockery Painting

I was born in Venezuela in 1981. I have a bachelor's degree in Visual Arts obteined at the Universidad de Los Andes, Mérida, Venezuela. I have worked at this university for six years as a full-time teacher giving Drawing and Color classes. I have made different group and individual painting and illustration exhibitions in several countries. I currently live in Spain, where I obteined a Master's degree in Illustrated book and Audiovisual animation. At present, I am doing a PhD in Creation and Research in Contemporary Art at the Facultad de Bellas Artes de la Universidad de Vigo. The most recent illustration works that I have done, consist of a serie of more than one hundred illustrations dedicated to trips (Viajes). It was part of a personal project presented in three individual exhibitions in Madrid, Barcelona and Pontevedra, Spain, between 2016 and 2018. Concerning to editorial design, my first illustrated book has been published as a part of the project URB-Topias made in Pontevedra, 2018. I am currently working on three projects about illustrated books: one of them is for an editorial company, and the other two are for writer friends.
