Lalit Sharma was born in 1950 and raised in Mandalay and Maymyo, Burma .He migrated 14 years later to India. He studied at Mayo College, Rajasthan. There is where he realized he had an artistic side while he was being taught by Mr. B.C Gui .That was the time he learnt a lot about Art. After college he trained to be a pilot however fate had other plans for him. All his dreams crashed. He then got into advertising as a visualizer and art had a strong role to play in this field. He immediately moved from advertising to Interior Design as it was a lot to do with creativity as well. Experimenting with different artistic vocations it was in this time he got into acting, theatre, directing and producing . He would paint through this journey for family, friends and clients. During this phase in his life he felt a strong calling from his birth place, Burma. He attended to the voice from within. The Buddhist ways of living in Burma brought him peace and therefore inspired him to focus more on his Art. 3 years ago he had a stroke and a heart attack and was needed for him to move back to India. At present, the doctor believes he must paint to be able to allow his creativity to flow freely . Most of his paintings reflect of freedom, peace, simplicity and Celebrations of Life!
