THINKING ABOUT FRIDA Painting

I'm very inspired by the design and traditional art of the peoples of the world. As a decorator with extensive experience, I know very well that it is almost always necessary to place color accents, balance the surrounding objects, and bring individuality to the interior. And I wanted to create author's art objects, decorative panels that would have a certain artistic value, a unique appearance and would become the accent of the room. As a designer, I am familiar with a variety of decorative materials, in particular decorative finishes, as silk or metallic effect. I use their limitless textures and decorative possibilities in many of my works. In my artworks, I follow two exciting themes. For a long time, since my student days, I have been interested in the topic of Female archetypes. In my paintings I express what I have felt for a long time ... What Women have in common is much stronger than what distinguishes them from each other, like age, race or beliefs. And this is common - our Beauty, our Strength, health, naturalness and instinct, clairvoyant and Wild nature, which manifests itself in the Soul of every modern Woman. Also, Horses have always evoked my admiration, they pass with their unhurried pace through all my work. This is a mix of their strength, vitality, energy and at the same time grace and tenderness. I specially study their anatomy, the special aesthetics of each breed - it is important for me to portray them correctly. This is how I express my love and respect to them. ... But I strive to draw not just a horse by itself, but to add decorative elements, decoration. For example, use a bright background, add color accents, add poster elements, or use a gold and silver backing to achieve a glitter and glow effect. I would really like my viewer to feel emotional security and comfort in the field of my work. The beauty of the world in various forms and joy - this is what I see, I pass through my eyes, mind and soul - and I try to convey my emotions to my viewer. Combining art education with design experience, I continue to move along the creative path, discovering its new forms and possibilities.
