As I recall decades ago perhaps, my 6th or 7th grade our Dad decided to build a family room downstairs. A phone was later placed on a wall for our use and around the corner; a room, a huge wall of unfinished plywood shelves for personal belongings. I remember my Dad saying to me, "This is your Wall." I was thrilled. It is where I wrote my friend's names and phone numbers which always left a paper trail. Written in pencil first, topped with ballpoint pen. The front and sides of this wooden irregular board is sanded, unfinished. The back has a saw tooth hanger ready to display. Jasper Johns and other artists have been my inspiration.
