This work is inspired by the all mystery hidden in the colourfull, graffti splatter and torn poster wall but also inspired by all the drawings, signs, symbols dreams that we need to leave behind us.. After covering of real cement each canvas, Gasediel uses the trompe l’œil technic to recreate this look and feeling of time passing, of weather-worn surfaces that we are accustomed in urban area.

Gasediel is a figurative artist who creates rich and exhuberant cement paintings on canvas. The artist collects various scenes and features from any hidden and decrepit wall of the city, which she then joins to create her own poetic wall scene. Gasediel was trained as a painter at the Versailles School of Mural Art. In her own studio in London where she has been for a year, she works with decorative painting techniques associated with the original processes she has developed over time. The artist acquired a Brazilian reputation after working in São Paulo for 10 years. She exhibited in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Maceió through the art gallery Luis Maluf Art Gallery and the Gamma gallery, including individual and collective exhibitions
