Born and raised in Parma, Italy, the artist has had a lifelong passion for painting and drawing. Despite building a successful career in the life sciences industry for nearly 30 years, she never stopped pursuing her dream of becoming an artist. Currently she resides in Paris, France. She has a special interest in the human body, particularly women's bodies. In a society where social norms impose their own dictates, feeding our complexes and degrading the relationship with our body, the artist aims to integrate a more complete and realistic vision of the body. Her representations of women are not perfect, not always young, or retouched, offering a more authentic and inclusive portrayal of femininity.
