About The Artwork
This art represents one of the fold dances in the Coastal Karnataka region. Pilivēṣa is performed during Navratri to honor the Goddess Durga whose favored animal is the tiger. This form of art has so much energy, that when they dance it feels like they have all the power and spirit of the world. And the colors they put in, they bloom, and maybe this inspired me to come up with this art and so happy to share it with you all
