These are 4 paintings each on 24x18 inch sheets of paper. They will need to be framed. The dimension given is overall (48x36"). They make up a series of narrative paintings that would make a bold, engaging statement piece for any interior setting. It is up to the viewer to decide what exactly is happening and what happens next! Bold and graphic, I have been reluctant to part with these paintings as they are both dear to my heart and always make me smile. Finally, I have decided that what might make me smile more would be if they were creating dialogue out in the world.

Kathy Wright is an American born visual artist based in Sarasota, FL. With a Bachelors Degree in Architecture from Georgia Institute of Technology, she went on to obtain a Masters Degree in Architecture from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design. Kathy has received numerous awards for her work including an Individual Artist Grant from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation for her Everglades Series of paintings and a Knight Neighborhood Challenge Grant from the John S. and James L. Knight foundation for sculpture. Among other honors, Wright has participated in the Art in Embassies Program of the United States Department of State, Sophia, Bulgaria and was Artist in Residence in Everglades National Park in 2008 and 2009.
