About The Artwork

An abstract painting, made in contrasting colors of blue and yellow surrounded by white and brown. Pasted paper elements add a characteristic, interesting texture. The painting reveals looming fragments of the past, but there are also strong, energetic accents, non-obvious and surprising shapes that suggest that the future may be unexpected and unknown, but also full of hope. This painting reflects the complexity of the human psyche. The past can influence our future, and at the same time we must face unknown challenges. Nostalgia can be a force that motivates us, but we shouldn't let it obscure what's to come. The most important thing is not to lose hope because every day there are new opportunities for a better future. The work is varnished, signed on the back. The side edges are a continuation of the painting, so it does not require additional framing.

I am graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at the Cracow University of Technology and Cracow School of Art and Fashion Design. I worked as a fashion designer and an interior architect. Research in art led me to express myself in painting. I often use my professional experience and view of the world in my artworks. Painting is a form of self-expression, my passion, a form of meditation and an energy transfer. I am looking for new solutions, often reaching for collage or assemblage and using upcycling. My favourite media are: alcohol ink, acrylics, pencils and crayons. I really like experimenting and combining different techniques. My favorite form of expression is abstraction. I am mainly inspired by nature, thoughts, dreams, structures and architecture. I reach into the recesses of the human subconscious. Through my paintings I do not want to impose anything, but only suggest and give freedom of interpretation.
