About The Artwork
The tower is fifty cubits down and as much into the sky. In the dungeon of a man sits by the tower. The king tied him to his conscience with a chain. After a beautiful life, he counts days, but he doesn't wait. An astronomer lives at the top of the tower. The king bought him a telescope to tie him to the universe. Astronomer counts stars, but he is not afraid. The one upstairs and the low one fall asleep full of numbers. That's why they understand each other. They don't have a pigeon, but a black cat carries messages from the dungeon to the top.
