Painting: Oil, Color on Cardboard.
I introduces graphics into painting, imbuing the textured paint with pointed meaning of the drawings, while painting directly from the tube and applying it to canvas over the image. Vertical and horizontal lines are brought forward with rectangular shapes: cubicles of buildings, street lines, and vertical tree trunks lend structural stability and togetherness to the composition. I rarely paints in the landscape; rather I paints what I remembers of the scene drawing from memory and recollection. This gives birth to keen and unusual compositions, such as when natural horizon of close up connects to the rising horizon of the background.
