Tranquility; inner peace is most beautiful. Painting

Tranquility: Today our peace and quiet is transformed into a wilderness of differences measured by greed, religious differences, status, colour, power and fear of health. Yet when I close my eyes, I hope that one day the world will live as one, peaceful and tranquil. I was inspired by the tranquility of life under water and what it would be like if our world too was as tranquil. The koi fish symbolize good luck, abundance and perseverance. Buddhist believe that humans must navigate the treacherous waters of suffering just as koi persistently fight their way against difficult currents. The use of my brush strokes and the blue and orange hues create a calming and serene effect, along with the gold that enhances the richness of what lies beneath the deep blue sea.
