Traveling Through Time; EGGs Painting

NOTE: this piece is constructed of 9 individual 24"x24"x5" panels, of arches 300lb; with added elements creating varrying depth; wire is used to connect the panels. HANGING: THIS IS THE BEST WAY TO DISPLAY; mounted on wood panel then enclosed with plexi box for best keeping. However: this piece can also be hung in strips on wall itself, as shown in photo; or; mounted on wood panel; Traveling Through Time, EGGs, 2019 acrylic, oil, watercolor, ink, paper, wire, collage 72 x 72 x 5 in. (varies) This was all about process for me and the space and time duration. I had just repurposed the paper and noticed how many I had and what a great size it would be then the questions started. How do I hold it together, how do I make it move, how do I give it dimension what will the story be and can I achieve it like a tic-tac-toe imagery. Then I started laying down the base background patterns technique etc. And found myself sitting and watching it for hours trying out different mediums in my mind and what attributes will i add such as the people and the cones and dangles and where. And where how do i incorporate the EGGs (in my mind) i have been carrying around with me all year. I worked out the hanging problem at least temporarily and after I painted all that i wanted I started hanging them together and adding the “things one see’s when traveling through time” pieces to it. Some are glued and others just hang there with a paperclip for now. Eventually I see this mounted lonely on a wood panel for stability… or maybe just like it is, I’m not sure yet.
