About The Artwork

This is one of three pieces all of them same size, same color palette. I paint and then I get inspired. I chose these colors because I love how they get together.

I was born in Mendoza, Argentina, on May 29, 1959. Daughter of a renowned musician from our country and with a family of many artists ranging from musicians, writers, and painters. It wasn't until 2012 that I started painting. At the beginning of my career, I attended several atelieres of local artists and from Buenos Aires, but I did not agree with some imposed structures. I needed to find my own style. Abstract art allowed me this. I understood that my work should please me and thus avoid the opinion of others to achieve authentic and genuine work. Each of my works is loaded with real feelings and without copies of any kind. I paint in Argentina and in Florida USA where my maternal family resides. I am currently fully dedicated to painting. Some of my works belong to private collections in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, the United States, Portugal, Brasil, Spain and Australia Artist Statement: I paint then I get inspired. It comes from my everyday life experiences. By the magic of the infinite creativity, I like all colors and their shades. I like the shapes that appear as a result of being spontaneous and “not over thinking it” when I stain the canvas. I am amazed by what appears capriciously. It makes me happy that a random stroke is infinitely beautiful and then I let it go as if it had never existed. These decisions fill me with adrenaline that confirms once again that I love what I do. It’s a constant learning process. Abstract art allows me to experience the freedom I desire. I paint with oil dedicating many hours to each piece until the desire disappears or the masterpiece appears showing itself proud. I usually choose the palette at the same time that I start painting. I generate a chaos of colors and shapes that as I go along I put in order to compose the final picture. This leads me thru unusual paths where intuition is what guides my work. I want to convey with my work the same thing that I feel when I paint, emotions, amazement, joy, happiness, life. My wish is that each work acquired fills a space with light.
