This painting take me back to the 70's. I worked on my old Triumph all the time, so I had a close up view of this engine. I wanted to do something different so I chose this one. It's another oil / dry brush technique on canvas

I'm Ron Morgan, I live in the Oklahoma City area, and I'm an artist. It seems that everything a person can do wrong about getting the right people to see and purchase my art work, I'm doing it. I've been doing some sort of art work since I can remember, although I have no formal training I learn from other artist I see. I try to figure out how they go about creating their work, then I work on it until I can obtain what I'm after. Sometimes I can copy the effect, sometimes I don't the journey is half the fun. Since the turn of the century I was doing nothing but motorcycle paintings. I'm told I have an eye for detail, and making the chrome look real. I've had some prints on a television show called, "Son's of Anarchy" for a couple of seasons. But, I still have all my motorcycle paintings. Try as I may to sell them to no avail. I started doing my girls in 2009, or there about. I love doing the portrait type painting. Eyes are one of my favorite things to paint. I feel if you walk into a room full of my paintings, and no matter which painting your looking at, if my paintings aren't looking back at you, then I haven't done my job. I've had people come from across the street at a festival, because the eyes of on of my girls caught their attention. I'm starting to do different types of paintings, trying to find something that people will want to collect. For people to say, I have a Ron Morgan painting. But then again, doesn't every artist wish for that. Check out my paintings here, or on my face book. I haven't used my websiteinalmost2years. Let me know your opinions.
