ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is the second version of "Two Ships Passing in the Night." In the 80s I did a number of moonlit paintings and this is one of them. I had this romantic and mysterious image of two ships passing in the night, under a full moon. Not sure exactly where that phrase came from... maybe a variation of Henry Longfellows's poem. “Ships that pass in the night, and speak each other in passing: Only a signal shown, and a distant voice in the darkness; So on the ocean of life, we pass and speak one another, Only a look and a voice, then darkness again and a silence. ” Can you see where the two ships are?

I love a good medium rare rib-eye (edit: to many happy cow videos on Facebook. I'm turning vegetarian.), garlic mash potatoes and a nice glass of red. But I'm not having it for dinner every night. My art is for those who appreciate originality and don't buy into what's "trending." Life is Art p.s. Hummus is horrible, but I love that cucumber, mint, yogurt thing.
