About The Artwork

This mini series arises from the following question: If you had to create an avatar for a metaverse, which of the following options would you choose? - you would create it as equal to you as possible. - I would change subtle aspects such as the hair. - you would create it totally different from you. It is part of a series of works that revolve around the idea of creating my own metaverse through tangible nfts. I am going to create my own metaverse, a virtual world but one that can have materiality. I'm going to make my NFTs tangible, not real, but material. I'm going to knock down the idea of digitizing painting and I'm going to show that you don't need only the digital to access a metaverse. I am going to use virtuality to create things that in reality I may not be able to achieve, but I am going to bring them back to physical reality in the form of paintings, these being a class of tangible NFTs. The idea is to rescue materiality, in a world that is becoming more digitized and virtualized every day.
