ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Part of a new series of works looking at negative space and dark matter. Previous works have focused on the positive (visible space) and these use some of the same basic shapes. Using a black acrylic background and oil pastels on top, the effect is more muted and toned down, further emphasizing the negative and "dark" space concept. The work is framed (rustically) with unstained and raw pine and comes wired and ready to hang.
