"As if their feet and their hearts have taken root in the hard land, a dry and dark land". This work belongs to the series Tierra negra that talks about how we relate to our environment and the mark we leave on it. It is a story of what is not seen, of what we do not appreciate at first sight if we want to ignore it. That is why it is not an explicit account, but a reference by omission to the deterioration of our relationship with the land that sustains us. All of my all my works are made on supports and with high quality materials, in this case with vinyl emulsion and pigments on linen canvas.
