Analuisa Alvarado is a Guatemalan artist (b. 1887) alumni from the Savannah College of Art in Design, Savannah, Georgia with a BFA in Painting. She also holds a B.A. in Architecture from Universidad Francisco Marroquin in Guatemala City, Guatemala. She has exhibited her work in-group exhibitions in Savannah, Goergia, Guatemala City, Guatemala and Lacoste, France. She creates small and middle-sized oil paintings on wood or canvas. Her work currently explores the effects of color and structure as a response to her immediate surroundings. She focuses on consolidating culture associations with color in Western Culture with her own cultural heritage.
