CORAL REEF TOTEMS My coral reef paintings are abstractions of reefs worldwide. I strive to capture the beauty and fragility of the coral reef ecosystem and portray life within the reef. Through acrylic paint and mixed media, I layer, scratch, and wipe away the paint's surface to reveal the depth and texture of the mysteries below. My paintings are not literal representations of the coral reef but rather an interpretation of my under-sea experience. This artistic approach gives my viewers a unique perspective on the coral reef and an appreciation for its beauty and importance. I hope to share the wonder and magic of the underwater world through my art and to inspire others to appreciate the beauty and diversity of marine life.
