About The Artwork

The little girl sitting in the foreground is me. I was a very lonely and shy little girl, and I always had my teddy bear, he was my confidant. I come from a very modest background and I remember that it was very young, I had a dream, to become a beautiful young woman and live in a high social environment. I wanted to rise in the social hierarchy and I did not accept the fatality. The young woman who turns her back on the painting is obviously me through the eyes of the little girl then, that's why the teddy bear is still in her hand and that there is a question mark to the future

I put my brushes and paintings in Saint-Paul de Vence. From my professional experiences in the male computer world to the fashion world, I now retain a benevolent and passionate look for the woman and its many complexity that today direct my creative work. In my studio gallery , I expose people with flagrant expression, to which, I juxtapose abstract marks by the application of more or less thick materials and the smudging of the surface, as like a need to "mistreat" the canvas to give a higher intensity to the emotions. Although figurative, my paintings nevertheless seek the subtlety of the dialogue between the canvas and the one who looks at it. And it is this intimate dialogue to each observer that I call the magic of creation ..I use acrylic with large brushes because of speed of execution but the transparency and volatility of the ink quickly became indispensable. I almost end with oil for the vibrations of the light on the colors.
