A Chicago native passionate about the arts. My style is a contemporary mix of abstract meeting realism. I studied ceramics throughout college , then started teaching visual art. After teaching and working in a more 2-D environment I have developed an adventurous love for mixed media collage and painting. My experience and training in 3-D reflects in my use of space over the canvas. If I am not using mixed media, I am working in different styles to create an assemblage of drama and emotional sensations. My artwork reflects identity, culture, emotions, and travel.
