About The Artwork
Clarissa Pinkola Estes wrote a book called “Untie the Strong Woman: Blessed Mother’s Immaculate Love for the Wild Soul”. I love how she paints the blessed mother as a strong and wild divine feminine force. She is strong and fierce, yet nurturing, and I love trying to capture how she appears to me. Peonies also have a place in my heart, symbolizing prosperity, good luck, love and honor - all things I work on encompassing within.
